"My experience with Sammy Davis Jr. was quite extraordinary and a dream come true. It started when I was nine years old and saw Sammy on a black and white TV in 1960. After seeing him perform, I knew I wanted to become an entertainer as magical as he was."

In 2021, Billy sat with Writer, Director, Actor and Broadway star, Thom Allison to write the story of his time working with Sammy Davis Jr., in the 1978 Broadway show "Stop the World - I Want to Get Off".  Allison has taken Billy's story and crafed an incredible one man show to tell this story incorporating Sammy's classic songbook.
